Gustavo Lopez:

Gustavo Lopez dj carrer begins in 1987. Two years later he was already the organizer of the first electronic parties in the west of Buenos Aires, where he becomes known for his exquisit music selection, influenced by disco, tecno and house music. Later he is given the residence of Fellini Afterhour in the center of Buenos Aires City and he gets into the city nightlife scene.
In 1995 the Urban Groove is born, with a marked influence of house from Chicago and Tecno from Detroit, being Gustavo one of the 8 components of the group. In a staggered growth, this group gathers in 1998 more than 20.000 people in a rave party in the suburbs of Buenos Aires, having recognition by the TV, Radios, and Magazines of Argentina.
Then in 1996 Urban Groove opens their own Afterhour called Kdos, an icon of the underground where they received artists like The Chemical Brothers, Green Velvet, Danny Rampling, Neil Landstrum, Ritchie Hawtin, Front 242, Justin Robertson, Ricardo Villalobos, Dj Duke, Luke Slater and Angel Molina between others.
In 1997 Gustavo edits his first ep with Urban Groove called 3 to 2000.
In 1998 he shares stage with legendary bands as The Prodigy and Kraftwerk. That same year with Urban Groove edits the second ep called 2 to 2000 by Universal Music.
In 1999 he produces his own TV show called Buenos Aires Dance Network in which he shows the background of Buenos Aires dance scene.
In 2000 comes the LP called Ciudad Cero Cero by Strictly Rythm and that year he moves to live in Barcelona.
In 2002 he begins to produce music with his young brother Junior Lopez with who he has already edited two vinyls under the name of Low Sound, by Luxury Grooves. That same year he begins his residence at City Hall in Barcelona, one of the underground house clubs of the city, where he still performs every Saturday and has shared cabin with djs like Ralph Lawson, Swag, Johnny Fiasco, Justin Robertson, DJulez, Bobi Peru, 2020 SoundSystem, David Duriez, Eddie Richards, Luciano, Murray Richardson, Vicenzo, Lele Sachi, Jose Luis Magoya, Dan Genacia, among others.
Nowadays he is in charge of the artistic direction of City Hall and also performing in the best clubs in the rest of Spain, and once a year he makes his classic Southamerican Tour, visiting Argentina, Chile, Brasil, Uruguay, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, etc.
With more than 20 years of cabin experience, Gustavo leaves his trademark in every stage and today he is a respected house leader in Barcelona and Southamerica.
